Howard Stimpson is a Senior Consultant in ENVIRON's WEEE, RoHS and Eco-design practice.

Howard holds a Masters degree in Environmental Management and Technology and 7 years experience in assisting producers of electrical and electronic equipment understand their legal exposure to the WEEE, RoHS and Packaging Directives in Europe and more recently, the new Batteries Directive. Howard has also provided specialist expertise in developing regulatory compliance solutions to complex waste management arrangements across EU Member States (including compliance with WEEE Regulations, Environmental Permitting, Waste Licensing and Transfrontier Waste Shipment requirements in EU Member States.

Howard also provides web design and programming and has delivered a range of bespoke web design and content to enable PerkinElmer, Tyco Electronics, Tandberg, Kramer Electronics, Respironics, Black Box, Radware and Data Domain to manage pan-European WEEE collection and recycling arrangements through their company website.

Howard has also assisted a number of companies to implement legally robust systems to finance Packaging and Batteries producer registration, take-back, recycling and reporting arrangements across Europe.
