WEEE Directive

 WEEE Directive

The WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC is having a significant impact on the electrical and electronics industry. Producers of electrical and electronic equipment are facing strict new compliance rules for collection, recycling and recovery of waste equipment.

The WEEE Directive requires manufacturers and importers of business products to register as a 'WEEE producer' and manage WEEE collection, recycling and reporting in every member state where they sell products.

ENVIRON provides consultancy advice and compliance assessments of company products against the WEEE and RoHS Directives. The registration process and management requirements are different in each EU member state. We offer a web-based solution which enables you to easily meet these WEEE collection, recycling and reporting requirements. We also help you complete your WEEE producer registrations in each member state where you sell products.

WEEE registration & reporting in the UK

The UK WEEE Regulations implement a completely different WEEE producer registration system compared to any other member state and require all manufacturers and importers to join an approved WEEE Producer Compliance Scheme. We run the first fully approved scheme for Business-to-Business Producers in the UK.
