Packaging requirements
Obligated parties must register and submit data based on the amount of packaging handled, to the Ministry for Environment.
The deadline for meeting recycling targets in the Czech Republic is delayed until 31 December 2012 in accordance with the amendment to the revised Directive, 2005/20/EC.
Manufacturers and importers must prepare a written declaration of compliance with the packaging Essential Requirements for their customers.
Thresholds
Act 94/2004 exempts companies from these obligations if they place less than 300kg of packaging on the market each year.
